Having our own access to the range turn out to be pretty painless, we have a few minor glitches to iron out, but all in all it went very smoothly. We managed 3 stages even on classifier night, two field courses, 1st 30 rounds, 2nd 18 rounds, followed up by Six Chickens. For those of you still not classified, you need the minimum of four of these classifier stages to get your first classification, so make sure the next ones you shoot they are in the same division. Also as a quick note, you can't change divisions 1/2 way through the night, what ever you sign up for is what you should remain shooting all night, division capacity!! So to the scores. I have inserted the combined overall and combined stages, and attached is a zip files with divisional results too, it is posted on USPSA.ORG already and I have also paid for and submitted the activity report, so your classifiers will roll in the up coming database roll within USPSA. This brings me to the issue of needing a new President and Vice President for the Club, as Kevin also has conflict with the Sunday issue. With the range switching our nights, I thought it was going to be a non-issue, but I had not thought past the first few weeks on my schedule. Currently we have a multi person set up, so if one of us is not available the other could step in, but we currently have neither of us that can fill either duty? So to business, I think we will need to hold and Extraordinary General Members/Shooters Meeting to discuss the future of the clubs leadership. I originally took this position as no one else was willing to at the time that Dave stood down, it is time that someone else took a turn. It is very rewarding, stick your chin out and have a go!! I spoke with a distributor today and we can get an discount if we can put together a big enough order. We can get about 5% discount from the MG website price on 3 or more cases. What I could tell, it was going to be about $275 per case instead of $290 for most bullet types. Anyone interested? We have 8 cases lined up as of now and could use a couple more to hit the "large order" number. I would hope that the order could go in before the beginning of next week and woudl expect to have them by the end of the next week. I took about 3 days to get my order of 1k.
