From Lexor40Cal at aol.com Wed Mar 26 00:03:40 2008 From: Lexor40Cal at aol.com (Lexor40Cal at aol.com) Date: Wed, 26 Mar 2008 00:03:40 EDT Subject: [NAAS-Members] Bulls-eye marksman range Message-ID: So I wanted to let you all know that Doug (range owner) had spoken with me last week about the possibility of NAAS moving to Sunday evenings? He tells me he has been looking at the books and that he thinks he is missing out on $900-$1500 a night on a Tuesday as the range is not open to the public. Tonight he told me that he took $2400 last night (Monday) and that it is hurting him not to be making that cash? We pay him $125 for the use of the range on a Tuesday night, the IDPA shooters pay him $15 per head (but the range supplies all of their targets etc.), but he tells me that they buy lots of ammo etc. and that the public can join in IDPA easier, as not as much complicated equipment is needed??? I told him I would poll the membership to gauge the consensus of opinion about running NAAS on a Sunday evening from 6:00 PM onwards? I ask/suggest that you do not use this e-mail as a reply, may be just drop me a line direct on your thoughts, and if you think we could make that work?
